Babydoll Sheep, Babydoll Wool

At “Laurie’s Little Lambs” farm in the Niagara Region, Olde English Babydoll Southdown Sheep are bred and wool produced.

Robert I'Anson has been breeding Babydoll Sheep since 2009. Robert specializes in producing both white and black Babydoll lambs. In addition, Robert is available to answer any questions you may have about the breed and their care.

Nearly extinct in the 1990’s, this recovering breed is the oldest of the registered sheep breeds. Small, hardy, easy to care for, naturally polled (no horns) this sheep is predominantly white but may also be black / brown in colour.

Whether you desire breeding pairs, sire rams, vineyard / orchard sheep or pet sheep your needs can be met.

Robert’s flock participated in the “Voluntary Scrapie Flock Certification Program” administered by “Scrapie Canada”. In combination with the USDA Scrapie Program, Robert’s flock had more than 12 years participation in this health program. This flock is populated with all three Codon 171 Scrapie Resistance types. The flock can reproduce any of the Codons, QQ, QR or RR as required.
